Are there any articles for those who change from xp to 7, but have not seen whists in their eyes?
List of interface changes and other important changes.
Or is it necessary in two stages, first to look for articles on the transition from XP to vista, then from vista to 7?

If you have an x64 processor, it is better to install the version for 64 bit processors, especially if you have more than 3 GB of RAM.
1. Save all data to disk D (including bookmarks, my documents, desktop content, etc.)
2. Download the disk with Win7 Ultimate (for example, here _http://rutracker.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=2153)
3 Write it through nero (Write-Write image, specify ico image). You can use other imaging programs.
4. Insert a disk, reboot, set the BIOS to boot from SD or F8 at startup (it does not work everywhere).
* If you know how to install from a flash drive, then it's better from it.
5. The disk is loaded, when choosing a disk, format the C drive: (do not mix it up, look at the size of the disk)
Further, the installation is very simple and in Russian.
In 7k, the control panel is very unusual and inconvenient, plus you need to get used to the fact that in the start menu “all programs” open in the same place (and not in a separate column as in XP) and folders also expand there. For that, instead of the launchpad, you can simply “pin” any programs to the task bar and it’s somewhat easier than in XP to pin them to the start menu. Everything else is about the same (well, what I didn’t see right off the bat is how to make the task bar have not only application icons, but also signatures, but this is not so important).
If you use a computer not at the level of “I clicked something and now nothing works,” then there should be no particular problems, spend a maximum of 3 minutes more for the first time searching for some hidden functions that you can do without .
In the interface, the most noticeable changes for me are the absence of the “Up” button in the explorer (but this is being treated ) and the unusual search (I haven’t been able to do anything with it yet - as soon as I start entering the search string, the OS rushes to look for it, without waiting until I’ll finish it, refine the search parameters, or generally switch the case - while, of course, blocking the interface).
It also suddenly turned out that there is no longer Outlook Express. At first I tried to switch to Windows Live Mail, but after a week my dissatisfaction reached a breaking point and I installed Thunderbird.
