The essence of the problem is as follows. I bought a new hard drive for an HP Probook 4720s laptop. Installed from the recovery disk from the Win7 laptop kit. And what an opportunity - the laptop was originally 64-bit, and the recovery recorded 32-bit, which does not suit me at all due to the presence of eight gigabytes of RAM in the laptop.
Where can I find such a 64-bit Win7 so that my native key, indicated on the back cover of the laptop on a sticker, fits it?

Judging by the OEM information for 7ki, this is SLIC in the BIOS, a certificate in the distribution kit and a key
You have the first and third.
The OEM certificate should in theory be in system32\oem in the distribution.
If you find your OEM certificate, you can install the appropriate Win7 (Pro, Home, what do you have a key for) from a regular distribution. After installation, add the certificate

slmgr -ilc path-to\certificate.xrm-ms

And activate with the key

slmgr -ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

If you don’t start a hemorrhoid showdown with the manufacturer’s representative and there is an old serviceable screw left, you can try to clone the old disk to a new one using programs like Acronis MigrateEasy. Only then it is advisable to check the possibility of restoring on a new disk from the recovery partition to make sure that such cloning is correct from the point of view of the system recovery software.

download the official image of the same edition and activate it with your key from the sticker.
