Switching from win xp to win 7

It is given, computers in the domain. Some users have xp, others have a seven.
Task: quickly and efficiently transfer everyone to the seven.
Additional information: they use Microsoft's profile transfer utility, but Kaspersky, according to admins, slows down the whole process. As a result, one machine takes up to two hours of work. Given that there are about 1500 cars, this is not very fun.
Additionally: each computer has proprietary specialized software and gigabytes of user data installed.
My solution: we put the full image (with Kaspersky and the main software) from a USB flash drive to a computer, user files are copied to network drives.
All this has to be done manually, and even on a test bench it took almost an hour and a half (Windows itself is installed in 10-15 minutes from a flash drive).
The question is, is there any way to speed this up?
Who and how dealt with such problems?

Create a roaming profile policy.
Then pour the seven, depending on preference.
Politicians can also pour modern software :)

Are gigabytes of user data stored in profiles?
If so, then I'm afraid that little will work out - they all need to be attributed, and then brought ... You can try to delegate some of the settings to users who are able to do this.

Why kaspersky? Without admin rights, and with admin rights too, Essentials is enough.
this time. Secondly, most software is perfectly deployed through GPO / WSUS / SCCM
, user profiles slowly and neatly fit even on drive D, for example, documents, desktop.
