Why does a laptop see a flash drive in only one slot?
There is a flash drive (Sandisk, 64 GB, USB 3.0). The laptop has 2 USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port. The flash drive only works in a USB 2.0 port. If you insert it into 3.0, then the laptop does not see the USB flash drive, it is not displayed in the device manager.
At the same time, another flash drive (Sony, 32GB, USB 2.0) works when connected to any port.
PS
A month ago everything worked.

Communication over USB 3.0 lines is broken - maybe the contact is bad, maybe the controller is buggy.
If speed is not important to you, you can slowly insert the USB flash drive so that it starts up at USB 2.0 speed. Or even seal the 3.0 contacts on it or on the connector.
