What questions are asked in an interview for a vector artist position?

Hello. There is no one else to ask. I really need work in the field of vector illustration. I didn’t study as a designer or an artist, I’m self-taught, so I don’t think I can design logos on my own, or draw, select colors, etc. dudes bring sketches, they draw them - voila. One friend works this way, he also got a job from scratch (but there is no connection with him). Initially, I wanted to freelance. But freelance exchanges with their conditions do not suit me.
I still do not understand what this position is called - is it a vector graphics artist or a vector illustrator or something else?
If someone works or has worked, please share your experience - what do they ask at interviews, what you need to be able to do, how are the levels determined (beginner, intermediate and pro)?
What is the pinnacle of excellence in this area in terms of the ability to work in vector editors? Does anyone have examples of the work of the guru? How to understand your level when it comes to drawing from a photo or a sketch?
I will be grateful for any help

The ideal commercial illustrator has a good portfolio, a full hand, and adherence to deadlines.
In real life, it looks like this: a task is given, the illustrator makes sketches, the customer chooses an option, and then the illustrator draws in vector. Load less - practice more.
