What memory frequency will Ryzen 3 1200 pull?

People. I want to buy a used Ryzen 3 1200 processor as a temporary plug until I save up for a more modern and new one（Ryzen 5 3600） And I want to buy 2 bars of 8 gigabytes with a frequency of 3200MHz. Will it pull a percentage of this frequency or will it work at a lower frequency? Or buy ryzen 5 1600? My motherboard is MSI b450 Tomohawk max.

Hello.
Try to find a memory with a frequency of at least 3600 with CL16 timings.
Ryzen 1200 you will set the frequency to 3200 with minimum timings.
For Ryzen 3600 you will set 3600 with Cl16 timings.
To be sure, open the dock on your motherboard on the manufacturer's website where the supported memory is written. Find your number. Don't pay attention to frequency.

Not the processor pulls the frequency, but the RAM strips and the motherboard. What are your planks?
