What budget ssd is suitable for a server?

There are options for cheap to buy a server 1U DELL PowerEdge R210 Perc S100 2x3.5 "1 * 250W, 1xXeon X3430 (4 Core, 2.4 / 2.8), 8GB DDR3-10600E without HDD -

There are, as it were, 3.5 inch HDDs, but not I want to bother with HDD, I want SSD.The volume of disks is up to 120 GB, more is not needed
yet.Load requirements - LAMP, under the heels of test sites, there will be no super duper goodies, but I want relative noiselessness and more or less reliable data safety, so that if the disks die, then the data would not be lost all at once (as horror stories on the Internet say :) )

PS The seller of servers bu said that this particular model does not work correctly with SSD drives, I took note, but there was no time to clarify why exactly they do not work correctly, if you have experience in operating these devices (servers) I will be grateful.

If the server motherboard does not work with something, there is a high chance that to change this fact, it is enough just to roll up the current firmware. The exception is very ancient models, the EOS of which came before the advent of SSD.
With your load profile, or rather, its absence, any SSD will do. For safety - RAID1 and backups.

Whether this server model supports SSD I don’t know for sure.
As for incorrect work, they either work or they don't work.

and more or less reliable data security
Disks and other drives do not affect the safety of data.
