NAS

Does it make sense to put an SSD in a home server with a NAS function?

At home I want to assemble a server like HP microserver gen7.
Inside there are 4 disks with raid 10, is it worth putting an ssd under the system there if the main function is nas ?
I'm also thinking of doing virtualization on it for other functions.
If there is a hardware raid controller and the system ssd flies off, will the raid be lost (during a new installation / system restore)?

The system makes no sense. The user will not work for you there. A normal HDD will suffice for the system.
But raid 10 for a home server is something terrible.

yes you can, why not. in the home network, the main thing is that the bandwidth is sufficient, especially with regards to Wi-Fi
