I can’t figure out which is better to install Windows on - SSD or HDD?

The family bought a new PC, HDD volume - 2TB, SSD volume - 250 GB
When I installed Windows there was a choice between them, on the Internet everyone wrote at once to install on SSD, and it was done.
However, now the problem is that all programs are automatically installed on the ssdshnik, some do not offer a choice of disk, and I think it will be difficult for parents to explain what goes where.
Was it worth installing Windows on the ssdshnik or is it better to reinstall before it's too late?

It was worth it, leave the system on the SSD. With a system on the HDD, the computer will work much slower

Definitely an SSD.

Well, of course, it should be so, you put the system on him.

Yes, and for parents, I think it will be difficult to explain what goes where.
If users are poorly versed in computers, then it is better not to give them admin rights in Windows at all, they install all sorts of nasty things. Set up remote access, let them ask you when something needs to be installed.
Well, in browsers, as well as in programs for downloading - select the HDD by default so that everything is stored there, you can also transfer the desktop and documents to the HDD, inexperienced users really like to store everything-everything-everything on the desktop.
