The cpu is heated up to 98 degrees. Detail inside. Tried a lot. What could be the reason?
Here is such a tricky situation that happens to me:
About six months ago I assembled a computer. From the heart, as they say. To work for several years without replacing components. The last one satisfied the needs for 5 years and was quite capable almost to the very end.
I chose the following components:
Processor I7- 10700 Motherboard
MSI MPG Z490 GAMING CARBON WIFI
Video card RTX 2080 super
RAM Kingston HyperX FURY Black [HX430C15FB3K2/16] 16 GB
PSU Be quiet system power 9 700w
Memory m2 wd blue sn550 for the system, 1 ssd evo and 1 seagate for 6tb.
In the block 3 140 mm coolers for blowing in front, 1 for blowing out at the back
The CPU cooler at that time was be quiet pure rock - now, after the situation described below, be quiet! DARK ROCK PRO 4
Monitors - 2 pieces: one 2k and 1 full hd
During the purchase of this block, I became involved in 3d modeling and image rendering. All games were going well. But at one point, when rendering a scene that did not fit into the vidyuhi by RAM and began to be rendered on the CPU, I noticed that the processor temperature reached 98. Turned it off - rebooted - the same thing. It flew up to 98 degrees. I read a bunch of forums, talked to people using the same program (daz3d), everyone says that this is not normal, that the percentage is so hot. Very upset that something was wrong with the computer that I assembled, as I wrote - from the bottom of my heart, not sparing much money (within my limits). Having tried the settings of the coolers in the BIOS and having come to nothing, I decided to buy the maximum that I found - the cooler be quiet! DARK ROCK PRO 4 . I took off the old one - judging by the remnants of the thermal paste, the contact was more or less. Unfortunately, thermal paste, which I bought for a new cooler - turned out to be defective. It was already late - and used the one that was bundled with the new cooler. I collected everything - I launched the render on the processor - the temperature did not rise above 74 in 5 minutes. In idle time - 37 degrees. Haven't tried it further. The next day - I decided to run a stress test in AIDA 64. 5 minutes of the test were more or less - the cpu temperature did not rise above 77, but by the 6th minute - a blue screen crashed with an error and a reboot - something is possible with your computer some kind of problem, etc. (as I understand it, it's like a 10 blue screen). Even more worn out, I was completely lost in my thoughts. Is this normal for a stress test? It may indeed happen sometimes. Although, my computer is new, not old and not weak. And what could be the reason? Only, what can I add - the Lan input did not work in any way on the motherboard - I had to buy an external network card. The rest have never been a problem. Maybe in six months he rebooted himself a couple of times, and even that was in my absence, maybe just an update. Thanks in advance for your replies. I do not know where to dig.

In my opinion, such symptoms occur when there are problems with the memory and video card.
Check mem-test'om as advised above; Try vidyuhi tests (I don’t know exactly which ones)
