How to effectively isolate a computer from moisture on an open balcony?
There is an idea to take the system unit to the balcony (not glazed) so that it cools better (we have quite moderate frosts in winter, so it will hardly be too cold) and does not make noise at home. Accordingly, the question is how to qualitatively insulate it from atmospheric moisture during rain, snow, fog, etc.

Pour in mineral oil and you can not take it anywhere.

Such experiments are best done if the equipment is not at all a pity.
1- Street dust + moisture + fumes (if a busy street) will kill the cooling at the moment.
2- Rain is not the worst thing, but moisture condensation on a cold board can be "deadly".
3- Sudden changes in temperature.
--a) It can drive the board
--b) Hard drives won't say "thank you" to you

I can list many more disadvantages of this solution, but it's up to you. In addition, for those funds that you spend on sealing, heating (yes, yes), filtration, etc. you can buy quieter coolers... or save up for passive cooling.
Install the components in an industrial enclosure with ip66/67 protection if the components do not get too hot. As an option, add liquid cooling and take the pump out.
If the computer is not a pity - fill everything with silicone sealant
Oil cooled aquarium. IMHO the perfect solution. Pick the viscosity only)) If you decide on such an option, then you may not need to take the system unit outside the perimeter of the living area
If the case is made airtight and a desiccant is added, it may work out. True, the question immediately arises - what to do with the cooling of a closed space. For a long time, the thought has been wandering in my head to dip the system unit in alcohol (isopropyl alcohol). After I bathed my cell phone in it, this idea persistently irritates the brain. That's just the hands will not reach. And there, even with successful work, there are a lot of problems.
