Faced with such a problem brought the HP LaserJet M1522n MFP, I connect it to the poppy, then I go to the printer settings, add it - everything is OK, it prints. But the scanner doesn't work. Mac stupidly does not see it, neither through the print queue, nor through HP Easy Scan.
I download HP Easy Start, follow the settings, the device is detected correctly, however, at the stage of updating the software, it says that it was not possible to automatically find the software.
Well, we climb to the site, download the drivers for our device for poppy (for the version of mac os 10.8 - maybe this is the case?), Update the printer and ... nothing again. I did reboots and other things, but it did not give much result.
