I naively opened this html file, because I didn’t see anything suspicious, and since I’m a freelancer, I receive different letters every day. As a result, when I opened the file, I saw just a white screen. But now I am tormented by doubts, what if it is a virus or some kind of malware? What to do? First of all, I changed passwords everywhere. Checked Mac OS using Avast. There are no backups unfortunately. I really don’t want to reinstall the system, because. a bunch of information on the computer that will have to be copied to virtual disks. Once again I want to emphasize that the file is in HTML format, and the operating system is MAC OS.

1) Set the security level to "install only from the Appstore" in the security settings of the system settings.
