Increasing RAM on a SONY VAIO VGN-NR31SR laptop?
Good day!
I want to increase the RAM on my old SONY VAIO VGN-NR31SR laptop from 2 GB to 4 (maximum supported).
Current memory specifications:
2 GB PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM
- 2 x 200-pin SO-DIMM
- all slots are occupied
- 667 MHz The
question is, if you take this DDR2 Kit 4gb (2x2gb) pc-5300 667mhz Kingston kvr66 ... there may be problems or should it work fine?

Yes, it should work. The chipset itself on this machine supports 4GB of DDR2-533/667 memory.
If the BIOS does not rest against the horn (it should not), then there should be no problems.
in Aida64 you can see the supported memory, and the maximum amount and frequency.
