Which laptop to choose for web programming in 2020 (under 85k)?
There was a need for a laptop, I mainly do web programming, study and watch movies. I went to Yandex.Market and realized that for several years, while I did not follow computer hardware, a lot of new processors and other things appeared that I did not really rummage about (for example, AMD Ryzen).
Perhaps someone recently chose a laptop for themselves and will recommend me some option in the region of 60-90k? Now I use a stationary device on i7-4990S and 12GB of RAM (DDR3 1600Mhz) and it suits me in terms of performance.
I understand that it would be ideal to take a MacBook Air or Pro, but it hits the budget hard + I would like to deal with Linux (I read that you can’t put it on a Mac now). I love the keyboard and touchpad on the Mac, the controls are great and I'm excited about it. Perhaps there are similar options for Windows?)
For me, it is important in a laptop:
- Small size (14 "ideal, or 15" with very narrow frames) so that it is easy to take with you
- At least 12 GB of RAM (and preferably 16, it is not enough sometimes =))
- Full HD IPS screen or better
- Good autonomy
- Nice keyboard (ideally, like a Mac)
- Processor at the level of i7 (well, or a good i5)
- Nice design (non-blinking multi-colored game monster)
With pleasure I will read your recommendations, who uses what and what are the pros and cons of your laptops.

a couple of lines of JS, a weak battery will teach you how to make sure that mobile devices do not run out of power after an hour of surfing your site.
I'm serious.
And if it's even more serious - take that Makpuk for which there is enough money.
Macbook Pro for which there is enough money. Of course, I can be accused of bias, but after talking with him, all other laptops, even expensive ones, are perceived as shit. At work 15 ka 18 years 16,256 At home 13 2017 8,256
Something in the comments are solid mac-drives ... Therefore, ThinkPad is better. With such a budget, it will already be a very good laptop (See everything except E), and not a budget E series.
Take a used maubuk that will last. You won't guess. At one time, I did just that, and I invested almost the last money in a piece of iron and did not lose.
Just looking for a replacement for the current laptop. From all that I looked, I really liked MSI Modern PS63 or MSI Prestige A10SC . True, you can find their horseradish on sale, but if it doesn’t burn, like me, then you can consider it.
DELL XPS 13 and Microsoft Surface Book are very good. But they won't fit into your budget.
In practice, the issue with the display and keyboard is solved by working with an external keyboard and display through the dock, because. a laptop should be compact (if its mobile use is supposed), but long-term work at a stationary place is unthinkable without a normal monitor.
So the dock, or USB-3 and the corresponding monitor (the laptop is connected by wire to the monitor, it charges from it and gives it a signal, the keyboard and mouse are plugged into the monitor, ideally also wireless). Total came to work \ home, stuck one wire, and voila.
