Is UHD resolution more comfortable than FHD? Is there a noticeable difference?

Welcome all!
Puzzled by the choice of a new laptop, I noticed several models from MSI / DELL. But in these models, all top-end configurations come with UHD (3840x2160) displays, in younger models, FHD (1920 × 1080) displays.
The display size is 15.6 everywhere.
Now I’m working for 15.6 with FHD, and probably, if you look closely, you can see the grain and it makes sense to take UHD, but according to reviews, they write somewhere that there is a difference, somewhere they write that there are a lot of shortcomings with software in terms of scalability and performance.
Actually, who has experience in using and comparing both options, please help answer the following questions (share your experience):

  1. Will there be a noticeable difference when working with text, for example in PhpStorm, Notepad++, Terminal, etc. - everything with web development? Movies/series? (I don't play games)
  2. Will there be problems with program scalability? In the same PhpStorm, Chrome, etc.

OS: Windows 10 Pro

@firedragon

You forgot the most important operating system.
With a scaling of 150%, I ran into problems in old programs and those written in QT
. Otherwise, everything is fine.

In PhpStorm UHD, I would call it the minimum comfortable resolution.

at 15.6 even fhd is
more excess, of course, no less.
When working with text, it will not be noticeable, when watching movies, the difference will not be very noticeable
