How to save precious time and nerves?

Hello. I, like many of you, are subject to a number of distractions at work that constantly piss me off: unsystematized "letters of happiness" ( gmail talk , hello), angry statement from a friend why I do not respond to her messages "Vkontakte "(I'm looking for a panacea, help!) And a number of the same stupid nuances that at first glance look like complete nonsense, but in fact seriously complicate my life. If any of you had the same sad experience of the war of the worlds (real and virtual) then I ask you to share with the solution to this problem

. Thank you PS What programs / applets make your life easier?

The same situation, only one thing helps. Cut down all ICQ, contacts, etc. And work.
Or in ICQ, gtalk use the invisible mode, if it is.

If you need all sorts of messaging services for communication at work, then the ancient principle of “divide and conquer”: there is Personal ICQ and there is Work ICQ, there is a Personal phone and there is a Work phone, there is a Personal Jabber and there is a Work Jabber, there is a Personal Skype and there is a Work Skype, there is a Personal Email and there is a Work Email…etc. complete separation of contacts, you will immediately feel how much your day will become more productive when empty chatter disappears from it!
And in no case, do not succumb to the temptation, do not let "contacts flow", otherwise you will again bitterly regret the wasted time!
By the way, if you don’t need some tool for work, then just cut it down without hesitation! It also saves a lot of time and effort!

Disabling everything is as simple as that. Set aside time to work - do it, and then enjoy communicating with the world.

In principle, I go to VKontakte different no more than once a day, or even less often. And I try to never reply to any messages.
When my friends and girlfriend reprimanded me that they say I don’t answer, I say: yes, I don’t answer. If you have something urgent, call. If not, then what is the problem?
As a result, everyone knows that it is better for me to call. And I bring water to those who are offended.

- Why don't you answer my messages?
- I'm busy, I'm working.
Here's a panacea for you. If your friend doesn't understand that work is important, you should explain it to her.
