How to run *.exe from flash drive?

My "boss" set the task - I want to know where the flash drives are "inserted".
So. Can you please tell me how can I run the executable file on a flash drive ??
It is necessary to register flash drive connections to different computers (creating a database of flash drive connections to different computers).
The problem is that autorun is disabled on the computers of the organization, i.e. "autorun.inf" doesn't work. Well, "naturally" antiviruses DrWeb or Casper are installed (at the request of the employee).
In one of the articles of the "Hacker" magazine (which was lost and not found), I came across an article about a Windows vulnerability when accessing a dynamic library (as if if you go to the directory where the DLL is located, then Windows reads it and how- then registers it :) ). This feature was used to insert the code for launching an executable file.
Something like this is needed. Or some alternative file launcher. Viri after all somehow creep))).
IMHO: I feel like a writer of virya, bypassing the autorun ban. But the protection (established fact of leakage) of corporate data is much more important.

In all modern versions of Windows, this hole has long been covered.
If you are so afraid for corporate data, then buy a USB flash drive with built-in encryption

Cancel user wishes.
On the same Kaspersky, you can enable control of connections of external devices and, in a wretched but nevertheless existing form, observe where the flash drive you are interested in was connected.

www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html - there is a soft that shows a list of connected flash drives, you don't need to run anything, Windows itself stores the list :-)

The people I need to find out if a working flash drive was included in a home (for example) computer.
That's why I'm writing a program, the problem is just to run it.
Everyone will be required to have the program installed on a flash drive, control / protection for editing the connection database (which will be stored on a flash drive, I will do it - this is not a problem)
