How to develop if you are alone?
The situation is as follows: I am a frontender, experience com. 5 years of development (the first 2 years - layout, the last 3 years - js / react, etc.) Apparently, my level is middle (averaged for the hospital). Now they have offered an offer where I will be the only front on the project (which is embarrassing), the project is not big, I have to write from scratch (which is very attractive).
Question: in the junior position, a team of more experienced colleagues is a key element in my own prof. development, what about when you are no longer jun? How important is the team, joint grooming of tasks, code review, for prof. development? Is it possible to grow from a middla position to senior if you study stupidly in practice without feedback from more experienced colleagues?

I'm ok. But as you rightly noted, it’s not clear whether you have grown to a senior or not, if I weren’t so lazy and had a little more soft skills, I would periodically (3-5 times a year) interview in various companies that give feedback, explain where to grow if not suitable, etc.
If you strongly (more than 2 years) do not plan to linger in this work, or in the near future it is planned to recruit more people for front-line positions, I think you should not bother too much.
well, if you yourself cannot develop and for this you need a team, change jobs
the easiest way to learn is when there is a teacher who also gives feedback immediately and you can discuss everything. This is much faster than collecting the rake itself, which has already been collected.
For five years, only the middle? Well, this is averagely bad, if there is such growth in the team, then what will happen when you are alone? to configure the deployment, you will learn the initial configuration of the project, of course, and then what? and they don’t even plan to hire people there?
It's funny that even working in a large company, "like in a team",
you can be a loner. I have exactly that experience.
They give tasks - you solve it yourself. Without consulting with anyone, without asking for feedback from anyone.
Does this mean that I am such a smart, independent senior? ...
not a fact, I myself think that with feedback I would have grown a lot more,
and so - I have to learn everything on my own, step on a rake, etc.
PS: I am writing notes about such a rake here: nujensait.ru/category/notes
