I'm starting to learn wordpress and I'm not ready to take orders from freelance exchanges yet - I'm afraid to miss the deadlines.
In all parting words to novice freelancers, a common thread is the recommendation to make a website for yourself, for friends. For myself, I have already made websites, but in terms of time everything was unlimited and somehow uncontrollable. For friends, it's even worse. In the era of the dominance of social networks, even the purpose of the future site cannot be determined, not to mention the functionality and content. Friends do not really understand why they need a site and, as a result, newly created sites do not differ much from the basic WordPress installation. But I am sure that there are people and organizations that need this kind of service, with zero budget, but without serious time constraints. Or maybe there are web studios that can offer a job in exchange for mentoring? As I understand it, freelance exchanges are not designed to find offers for such requests.
And I wanted to ask the respected community if there are specialized forums or sites where you can work on interesting tasks without being responsible for missed deadlines in conditions as close as possible to working ones?
