winserver2012r2. How to correctly divide (or not divide) a hard drive into a system one, etc.?

Hello everyone, there is a virtual machine MWS2012R2 on CentOS 6, a disk for Windows 1024GB, it is planned to run a web server on it with user data storage (video, photos, logs).
Is it worth dividing the disk into system and normal (for example, C - 200gb, D - 824gb)?
server backups are planned separately on another physical disk.

It was already advised to separate the system and data, but you can also allocate a separate disk for swap. What would not interfere with the backup.

in half is the best option.

Yes, you do need to share. On an industrial scale, it would be nice to have a database and logs on separate disks.
