Mysterious ssd, how to use it correctly?
I wanted to buy an ssd drive, hoping that it would give my computer a new life, but how to use it correctly?
In most cases, people put an axis on it and install programs. This will give the OS a quick boot, which won't make me happy, as well as a quick launch of programs. Plus, for these same programs to work quickly, you need to place projects on ssd, and for cad systems they are not so small, android studio, visual studio or databases that you want to work with quickly. I am very eager to keep working files on ssd, everyone knows why, but why do I need it then? I once read that ssd is used for caching, without installing an operating system on it.
Advise smart people how to do it better?

I wanted to buy an ssd drive, hoping that it would give my computer a new life, but how to use it correctly? They stuck it into the computer, transferred the OS and those data, the speed of which is critical, to it.

You wrote garbage for me in general for the last five years, only SSD drives live quickly and beautifully.
ssd has been living for 4 years now and no problems. Using ssd for caching is IMHO complete nonsense, you need to install OS and working programs on it ....
> I'm very eager to keep working files on ssd, everyone knows why
And why? Nobody knows except you, tell us.
ssd disk does not die instantly, install a simple health monitoring utility from the manufacturer, and you will be happy. And yes, modern ssds are very reliable, you can not be afraid of data loss.
I haven't had a hdd in my working computers for 6 years now.
All the big files that I'm not working on "right now" are stored on my home server. Well, it's cheaper on an external hdd via usb3, but this does not cancel backups.
As for the recording resource - the very first ssd that I bought has been working for those same 6 years, while pah-pah is alive.
