Windows incorrectly detects screen resolution?

Ultrabook 13 inches, approx. Resolution 1280x720 (maybe higher). The screen resolution settings are 1920x1080 (recommended is Windows). But sites open not as for 1920x1080, but as for 1280x720, i.e. image display is still close.

It is necessary that the site is displayed as 1920x1080. I assume that Windows incorrectly "prompts" the resolution in width and height. If you change to boxed (1280x720), will more content be displayed on the site page?

Will not. To display as 1920x1080, look in the Windows settings for scaling and turn it off. Now there should be 1.5.
