NexusFont slows down, disabling the Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache Service does not help - what should I do?
Windows 10 x64 PRO
Disabled Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache Service via WIN+R -> msconfig, checked in This PC -> Management -> Services and deleted FontCache3.0.0.0.dat from C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\ local.
It still slows down. Sets are scanned monstrously long, regardless of their size - dozens, or hundreds, or thousands of fonts. After a while, the window with the progress of the scan hangs. After the Nexus is closed, the programs still continue to see uninstalled fonts (this manager has such a feature - while it is on, the fonts from the viewed set are available to other programs even if the fonts themselves are not installed in the system).
Pickle in general. What to do? Is there a similar manager with the same cool feature and a normal interface?

Decision. I hung out with the wrong service. The confusion arose due to the Russification of Windows services (essno no one has problems in Runet, so I didn’t find Russian instructions).
In general, who has a Russian ten - you need to turn off the "Windows Font Cache Service". Not "Windows Presentation Foundation 3.0.0.0 Font Cache". You just need to turn it off, then click stop, then apply. The effect is instant, 2000+ fonts are scanned in a second.
