[Windows 8] folder name after dot is truncated, how to overcome?
Good day ... I
recently installed Win 8, and I encountered such a problem - part of the folder name after the last dot (if there is a dot) is not shown in Explorer, at work on win 7, a similar problem also recently appeared. For example, there is a folder 4.8.3, if you make dir from the console, it shows 4.8.3, if you open it in explorer, then 4.8 is shown. At the same time, file extensions are displayed correctly. If anyone has come across and knows how to overcome, I will be grateful for the information.
