Will these computer characteristics be enough for virtualization?

In view of the fact that the answer to this question was not found, I decided to go differently.

An excerpt from that question:

now you can't keep your home computer always on, due to the appearance of a family.

There is also a file + media server at home, which is in the "closet" in constant work, the mother is there (ASUS C60M1-I) + 4 gigabytes of memory + swap 4. Plex is spinning on it (it looks remotely on it, for example, from work, and so on the network it takes fir and on the telly) and a torrento-rocking chair. It is spinning on ubuntu server 12.04.

So the very essence of the question is: will there be enough opportunities to put a virtual machine + a small tench desktop on it in order to surf the Internet remotely from work? More is not required. Purely for this (virtualization, guest OS), I'll throw a small screw there ...
