How to use a Windows virtual guest as the main guest in linux?

Greetings!
There is a laptop on which Windows XP should work (license available). But the laptop is new, and the OS is no longer supported at all, so it is not even installed there.
So the idea came up to put GNU / Linux as a host system (most likely Debian), and Windows XP as a guest system, but so that the user considers it the main one.
I scoured the Internet and found nothing but a mention that they did this. There are many questions, and there are probably no less pitfalls, so I would like to see examples of solutions to this problem.

Guys, I probably don't know how to ask questions, there are too many off-topic answers.
The laptop is powerful, Windows 10 only, UEFI without legacy, there are no drivers for the SATA controller under XP. There is ONE license for Windows XP, no money, no other equipment. A laptop and Windows XP is all there is.
So you need this XP to work on this laptop, or rather a program for Win 95 - XP. Under Wine, it will not work, a program for the device with its own drivers.
The only solution that came to my mind is a virtual machine on a Linux-host system and throw everything possible from the equipment into it. But for the user to the maximum, it should be invisible. I've definitely met people on the Internet who did this, but apart from a slight mention of it, I did not find it.
So I ask you for a link to a similar manual, if, of course, they exist.

Не стоит. Будет больше гемора, чем пользы.
Представьте, вы ошиблись, и вам потребовалось поменять какой-нибудь парам.
Придется очень сильно пытаться выбраться из машины. Да и производительность не ахти.
Проще поставить какую-нибудь новую ОС либо очень UserFriendly Linux (например Ubuntu, Mint и как-там его материал какой-то... не могу вспомнить :( )

А как это хрюша может не устанавливаться? или с рутрекера уже повыпилили все MSDN образы? Установится она прекрастно на любое железо лиж бы там был не EFI биос. А вот то что половина современного софта ее игнорит, это да. Но городить XP поверх пингвина, да еще и на ноуте расчитанном под XP это потерять хорошую долю ресурсов.

Как вариант поставить какой-нибудь линукс с опенбоксом и сделать две кнопки запустить windows и включить компьютер.
