Will there be a speed increase if the database is spread over several ssds?

If the database is divided into several sub-bases and each database is placed on a separate sata ssd disk. Will there be a read write performance gain? For example, 4 ssds of 256GB will be faster under parallel load than 2 of 512GB. Will it be a linear relationship? all disks without raid. If one disk has a random 4k read of 30-40 mb / s, will it be 120 mb / s when loading all the bases?

So there is a raid array for this. Why come up with some tricky scheme with subbases?

And exactly everything rests on the disks?

Unknown.
If your speed rests on the disk subsystem, then of course it will. If it does not rest - nothing will change at all.
Do not confuse such things as the maximum disk speed in different modes, the maximum interface bandwidth, and the speed required by the application. These are all different things.
