B450M Steel Legend + SSD WD green + Ultra M.2?

motherboard B450M Steel Legend with Ultra M.2 slot (PCIe Gen3 x4)

SSD WD Grean 240GB WDs240G2G0B (with warranty model)

only WDS240G1G0B is listed in SSD support for this motherboard - I have G2

When I bought this SSD, I installed Windows on it, removed and left as a backup.

Now, after 2-3 years)) I remembered about it, inserted it into the motherboard - and nothing. Neither in BIOS nor in Windows.

Drivers are fresh for PC.
Even WD software does not see it.

Are there ways to understand if he is alive at all? is the slot itself alive?

The main Samsung CNE is connected via cables.

When trying to install Windows, with only the inserted WD green, it also does not see it in the installation menu.

@ggwp228

either the disk has already died during this time, while it was lying,
or you have a disk slot combined with SATA connectors (usually these are the last ones, 5th, 6th.), respectively, disconnect the disks from there
