Will replacing the OP with a 2007 macbook help?

Such a problem that the poppy slows down a lot, despite the fact that it is already 10 years old))
Since the OP and HDD are removable, I thought about replacing it with up to 4 GB.
Tell me, I think that it will obviously help, at least in that it will not lag so much, and at least 5 tabs in Chrome will be launched without braking: D
Tell me if this will help, and which manufacturer is desirable to choose, and how to do it right will replace, and will it help at all ?! Thank you))

Processor: 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

@ganzmavag

Probably no longer relevant, but suddenly someone will google.
From my own experience - yes, it will help, but if you still install an SSD, at least a cheap one, then it's generally wonderful.
