Will a monitor with a larger screen but the same resolution (1080p) fit more information?
Might be a stupid question that can be answered by comparing two monitors, but it's 1:00 a.m. (shops are closed) and I only have one monitor.
Essence of the question:
I have a monitor diagonal = 21 inches. Resolution 1080p.
I'm currently studying programming and I'm terribly short of space. I can comfortably use only 2 windows (in half).
And if 3 or 4, then it's just awful.
If I buy a 27" monitor but with the same resolution, will the windows in the same arrangement show more information? Or is it just stupid that the content will be larger in size (text, toolbars in programs, buttons) and there will be no result?
Thank you.
PS Just in case, I'll clarify that I heard about the convenience of two monitors, but this is not about that now.

The content will simply be larger in size and the result will not be noticeable.
There is a Lenovo YOGA 2 laptop with a 11.6" screen and a resolution of 1080p, and there is a computer with a 24" monitor with the same resolution.
They have the same pixels, but for comfortable work they have different settings. As a result, much more information fits into the monitor than into the laptop screen.
A similar situation was with 17 "and 19" monitors - the resolution is 1280x1024 on both, but 19" is much more comfortable.
To make a decision, you need to take a laptop with an HDMI output and your programs installed, and go to the store. Negotiate with the sellers and test your programs /windows on a 27" monitor. Based on the result, you decide whether it is worth changing the awl for soap, or for the time being, work with glasses on the old monitor and collect money for a monitor with a higher resolution.
You can reduce the size of windows and fonts in the Windows settings, I have two monitors at 11 inches 1080p and 27 inches at 1080p 27 inches more windows can be placed if necessary, since there are smaller sizes of windows and fonts.
