Why isn't the new battery charging on my MacBook Pro early 2015?
Hello.
Yesterday a new battery for the MacBook Pro 13 Early 2015 arrived from Ali. The correct model is A1582. Removed the old one, installed the new one, plugged it in. But after switching on, a floating charge is shown - yesterday it showed 64.7%, today it is 54%.
I read that after replacing the battery, it is necessary to calibrate, but the battery does not charge. The status bar also indicates that the battery needs to be replaced and the battery is not charging. At the same time, CoconutBattery displays information like the norm - manufacturer Simplo, production date April '19, 0 recharge cycles.
I tried to disconnect the battery connector - the poppy becomes dumb like a typewriter. Plugged it back in, works fine, but won't charge.
Maybe someone faced such a problem?
