Which poppy is more profitable to buy now?

Need a Mac for development, not as a main computer. Mostly for building apps for iOS, and sometimes for developing / debugging in xcode.
In general, what is better to take now? As cheap as possible, used.
I choose between old mac mini and macbook air of 2009. Does el captitan slow them down? You don’t need super performance, the main thing is that you can work, and not suffer with brakes like in a virtual machine.

At the very macbook air 2009. (Perfect for travel\development\café get-togethers with wi-fi etc.)
Personally, I am very happy with my choice, it satisfies my needs. (surfing the web, light weight, application development)

Buy a modern model on credit and don't worry. Then buy applecare for it and work in peace (this thing gives a +2 year warranty). A piece of iron for 5-7 years will serve you faithfully.
