Why is virt-manager not showing the console?
Hello Lord!
Completely unclear situation.
Yesterday I installed Debian+Gnome3 at work, configured qemu-kvm, libvirt, virt-manager.
Everything works perfectly!
Connecting via qemu+ssh is great! Login to the "terminal" VM - no questions asked.
Today I set up the same thing on my home laptop.
The connection is the same. VM statuses are displayed perfectly. But I can't enter the "console" of the old servers! Tries to connect, but does not let Viewer was disconnected into the console.
But the working machine connects normally to the terminal!
The only difference between a working computer and a home laptop is that the laptop is equipped with XFCE4.
Looking at the server logs...
ibvirtd[942]: internal error: unsupported event ID 19
On the side of the laptop - peace and quiet! In the logs, in general, there is not a damn thing.
Advise, plz, how to overcome this trouble!
It is much more important for me to set up the functionality on my home laptop!
And yes. I draw your attention: the laptop connects to new servers normally and lets you into the console. Troubles only with old servers.
