Why is the processor getting hot?
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E8200.
At idle, the temperature can reach up to 90+ degrees. After 15 minutes, the average temperature becomes 70-90 degrees, and this is when idle.
What could be the problem? The boxed cooler works, but for some reason such a high temperature.
UPD: replaced thermal paste, idle temperature - up to 70 degrees

Enter the BIOS and look at the operating temperature. If it exceeds 40C on the processor at normal room temperature, then you have big problems with the cooling system. If the temperature is within the normal range, then the operating system has hidden processes with a significant load on the processor. Good luck.
