Automatic adjustment of laptop backlight (depending on the image on the screen) - how to disable it completely?
Hello! I have a Dell Inspiron 7347 laptop with intel 4400 graphics. The drivers have a function to automatically adjust the backlight depending on the background on the screen. If the screen is white, then the backlight is more, if it is black, less. The backlight changes even when the folder is expanded to full screen. I disabled this feature in several places: in the intel graphics drivers, in the power plan settings, the light sensor is also disabled. The function really turns off only after a reboot, after falling asleep and waking up, it turns on again, although the settings do not change (the checkboxes are all in the same place) until the next reboot.
I would like to ask how to disable this feature even after sleep, because I have been digging the Internet for a week now.
By the way, if the intel drivers are removed, then this behavior is not observed (but hardware acceleration disappears). I tried different versions of drivers (all available on the intel website, as well as from the manufacturer). The operating system was installed from scratch.
