I took an Ideapad for a child, he has been using it for the third year and no problems, so everything is in order with reliability, I have a Thinkpad from Lenovo and it has also been working for 5 years without problems. Purely subjectively, Acer and Asus are much worse made. In general, a laptop should simply have a good warranty and a service center in your city.
As for the screen, you are not blind, go to the store, see if the TN matrix suits you, take it, you don’t take a laptop to play, and you don’t buy a TV set, but take a budget laptop that will help you master your future profession. In reality, I use a laptop with an IPS screen and TN every day and I do not suffer when I have to sit at a TN matrix.
You will definitely have to buy additional RAM, but this will not happen immediately and you will have time to save up for it, but ideally, the current RAM should be installed with one bar, not two, then it’s easier to add 8 more to 8, and not sell the old RAM.
Yes, it will fit.
I would really advise you to look for:
- with the ability to expand the operative in the future
- with a better screen
- not lenovo)
But in general - you can write code on it without problems.
I do not advise taking tn screen. You will constantly look at the screen - let it be good. Get better IPS.
The processor is rather weak, of course, the rest is ok.
