Why is the hard drive freezing?

I bought a new computer, a 480 GB SSD drive in it. Seizures started very quickly. After starting the system, the desktop periodically freezes and, in principle, the entire computer. Hangups occur from 3 seconds to 20. Then everything dies off. In the dispatcher, the same thing is repeated: the load on the disk is 100% (as you can see on the screenshot). This happens regardless of what is running. One browser or games. (By the way, games do not freeze).
I changed windows, for 8.1, for 10, different assemblies, etc. Everything is the same.

As an additional diagnostic option, you can test the SSD in R.tester:
https://rlab.ru/tools/rtester.html
Graphs can give you food for thought, you can also see SMART there.
If everything is new and important information is not on the disk, then you can even do write tests (they will destroy all data).

it’s easier to take it back where you bought it and change it, if it doesn’t help then it’s something else, personally I would do that

Why is the hard drive freezing?
Not enough information.
Maybe the disk is faulty, but not sure.
Most likely you have it packed to capacity and the load is large for some reason.
Tell me how much free disk space you have, does TRIM work, and how do you manage to load a 100% disk?

@klepiku

maybe you put hdd (adjacent port) next to it and it works with files
