Why is G-Sync not working?

I bought myself a Philips 275E1S monitor, 75hz with Freesync, connected via DP 1.2a to work with G-Sync. The matrix itself "accelerates" to 82hz, but at the same time G-Sync only works with 76hz, and when it is increased, the monitor goes disconnected. What side is the problem on?
