Why does the virtual machine treat wifi as wired internet?

Linux does not see wifi adapters, is it supposed to? Is there a way to fix this, I just need wifi

No. VIRTUALBOX gives the virtual machine only virtual adapters. And among them there is no Wi-Fi.
You can transfer USB devices, but you need to install the VirtualBox Extension Pack plugin. Documentation .
