Is there a way to work more or less comfortably on virtual machines?

I put XP and Vista 32bit on Hyper-V to test outdated software, but the video card does not work properly. After installing the vmguest drivers, the network appeared, but the image is only displayed in 16bit. To use RemoteFX, as I understand it, a minimum of Win8 is required. Is it the same on other virtual machines?
CPU: i5 10400F without integrated video
GPU: GTX 1660
UPD. Delivered VirtualBox together with Guest Additions, everything earned much better.

video card not working properly
To forward a video card to a virtual machine on a desktop, you need to have two video cards. Because the video card is either here (on the host) or there (on the virtual machine), but not in two places at the same time. If you are forwarding to a virtual machine, then this video card cannot produce a picture on the host. Therefore, you need to forward the video card that is not currently used on the host.
