Why does the computer turn off during games, although there is no overheating?

The computer suddenly shuts down when I play games. Moreover, in certain games, the computer turns off 5 minutes after starting the game, while in others it may take half an hour before shutting down. And now the details:

  • AsRock Z170 Pro4s motherboard
  • i5 6600k processor
  • CPU cooler Noctua NH-U12A
  • graphics card HIS Radeon RX 480 IceQ X2 Roaring OC, 8Gb
  • RAM 2 sticks G.Skill RIPJAWS V F4-3200C16D-8GVKB 8 GB
  • power supply unit Super Flower Leadex III Gold 750W

  • Windows 10 Professional system. All updates installed
  • latest video card drivers
  • bios updated
  • reliable antivirus, purchased, I don’t download torrents with games

The power supply is new, bought recently. Room temperature feels like 25-28 degrees, that is, no critical temperatures. The processor in the game is not heated and the temperature is around 33 degrees. The thermal paste is new and the cooler was changed a week ago.

Here the video card heats up to 90 degrees in the game, but I don’t think that the computer can turn off because of this.

I sin on the power supply, but somehow I don’t want to buy a new one, since the current one is practically new and expensive (reviews, both on Yandex and in the CSN, are only five).

Most likely the problem is overheating.
90 degrees for the RX480 is quite a normal temperature, but if the thermal paste is dry somewhere, the video card will cut off the computer without warning (I myself got into this situation with the RX480, and then with the RX5700XT)
Disassemble the video card and change the thermal paste on the chip (I recommend Arctic MX4) .
It doesn't hurt to clean the fans too.

Something seems to me the processor is suspiciously cold under load. 33 is the exact temperature of the processor? Does it change if it is loaded with some kind of stress test? Or maybe in reality there is much more, but we are looking at something else?

1. HIS Radeon RX 480 - 90 degrees is too much. Is there any overclocking from the previous owner?
You can try to forcibly lower the clock frequency of the memory and processor of the video card (Yes, and the central processor likes this).
2. Windows 10 Professional is also a buggy business, especially if there are all sorts of "useful" Security Tools and the necessary "updates".
I would look for something in the style of "Win 10 LTSC"
PS Power supply Gold 750W - more than enough for this configuration - I think it can definitely be excluded.

It is possible that the problem is in the PSU, and it simply does not have enough power.

The video card heats up to 90 degrees in the game,

It may well be cut off due to overheating. Although at this temperature it should only troll.

IMHO, first of all, look towards the PSU.
Yes, and 90 degrees for a video card, IMHO, a bit too much.

Maybe because of bp. I had one, and a new one from the store, or not a new one slipped. Under heavy load, the PC went into reboot.
