Why does 3Ds Max have fewer polygons than the same model in ue4?
Modeled trees, animals and other environments in MagicalVoxel. Then I exported to .obj and went into 3Ds Max 2018 to optimize the model (deleted unnecessary polygons), then imported it into Unreal Engine 4.24 But for some reason unknown to me, there were as many polygons as before the model was optimized in 3Ds Max 2018.
PS: For some reason, the position of the pivot point that I set in 3Ds Max 2018 was also not preserved.
I will be grateful for your help!
