Does a 3D visualizer need to have an architectural or design education?

Hello everyone, I recently started learning 3Ds Max for fun, quite liked it. Now I am a first-year student of economics and management, but I am confused by the question, is it worth studying 3D ( visualization, for example ) if you are not an architect or a designer by education ?
I just don’t want to spend a lot of time so that the employer doesn’t hire me, or freelancing from the wrong education, now I’m considering 3D as one of the options. Do you think education is necessary or not?

Does a dentist need to have a medical degree? Now I'm a student at a culinary college, I'm wondering if it's worth learning anatomy...
A specialized education will teach you not only how to work in Archicad, but will give you some IMPORTANT fundamental knowledge. For some, this will be the revelation of the Lord, and someone is able to read tons of documentation, sit in the technical libraries of universities and understand the issue ...
But personally, I will not go to a dental technician without a profile education.
In general, the more you are a broad specialist in related fields, the easier it will be for you to occupy a niche in which cross-knowledge is required. If, for example, you get a job in the architectural department of the mayor's office for contractual, estimated and tender work, then your profile, and add. will be right on point. :)
