How to properly install Windows on Mac OS?

Specifications: MacBook 13" 2013 late, i5, 8gb, 256gb. 2.4 gghz.
There was a need to install Windows on my MacBook, please tell me how best to do this?
which is better Boot Camp or Parallels? I once tried Parallels and I It seemed that it slows down.I need everything to work more or less smoothly and that there are no problems installing programs on a Windows
system.Thanks.

Parallels is a virtual machine. It's Windows inside Mac OS. But no matter how well it was done, the virtual machine remains a virtual machine with its own brakes.
While installing Windows through BootCamp will allow you to get a native OS without brakes. The price of this is the need to reboot to switch between OSes.
Which of these is better? It's up to you, there is no definitive answer. If Parallels is too slow for you, and the inability to work in two operating systems at once is not critical, then use BootCamp.

Definitely Boot Camp, parallels slows down and significantly.
