Why are cookies not updated when using SetViewTarget in a component's epilogue?

Hello. I would be very grateful for any help.

The problem is the following:

1. I set cookies via JS;
   
2. the cookie parameter is displayed in the site template from component_epilog using the SetViewTarget + ShowViewContent binding (of course, EndViewTarget is also present);
   
3. The value is displayed, but only when the page is refreshed again (although the first time there is already a value in $_COOKIE, ShowViewContent shows the same markup).
   

Can you tell me what is the problem and how can it be solved?
