Which server technology to choose for freelancing?

I plan to do freelance website development. Everything is in order with English, so orders will most likely be with upwork, but if this makes sense, then you can try to take orders from Russian exchanges. I have experience in Java Spring, JS (jQuery, Angular). Java is absolutely not needed for freelancing, so there is a question of choosing a technology: Python Django, Ruby on Rails or Node.js. PHP everyone scares me, they say it will be difficult to perceive it after java. There are fewer orders for django than for ruby and nodes, the community is weaker. Node is growing in popularity, but not the fact that it is a fairly versatile technology for website development. I hear about ruby that he has no future and he is slowly dying, which is facilitated by excessive "magic" in everything.
What would you choose to freelance back-end development in 2015? I would also like to apply the acquired experience to my project.

Hello, I use Python in freelance, you can read how successful it is in my blog. Many here on the toaster write that you won’t find work in Python, you don’t listen to them, a good developer is always in demand, orders are taken easily if you learn to convey to the client that in Python he will receive a ready-made solution an order of magnitude faster than in the same php.

PHP is slowly improving and newer versions are much better than before and now it is the most common language for websites. We would love to write in python and work with mongo or something else newfangled, but when 95% of the clients are php and mysql, then there is not much choice =)

If you know Java well, then why not switch to Android development? It seems to me that a Java programmer (even if you only dealt with the web) would be easier to continue programming in Java, all that remains is to learn the platform. Or is mobile development in freelance not in demand today?
Again, my subjective opinion, but orders for Java (the same Spring, Hibernate, Vaadin) quite often slip through freelance exchanges.

PHP, Yii2 framework - I use it and am not overjoyed. In the Russian-speaking segment is very popular. But for work abroad I would choose WordPress - there are time-tested solutions in use: habrahabr.ru/post/248719

I chose NODE.js for myself, but unfortunately only PHP can be used at work so far. The main thing is to like the technology, but you can look at the popularity of technology on upwork'e. The most popular PHP, but I don’t like it, I understand that I won’t be able to work with it for a long time, on the other hand I love JS, so I chose NODE.js ... in the end, all js developers come to study it, even if as for general development. Try everything that was mentioned, without going too deep, and then decide.
