I make up a site for a person, according to the finished psd, almost pixel perfect, I send him 80% finished work for evaluation, and then he tells me that the site is too large, does not fit on the "screen", with more careful communication I find out what is available, I will enter the monitor screen, on that I give him an answer, they say everything is clear in design, if you open psd and see how it looks on the screen, then if you remove the height of the tabs and the address bar of the browser, then the height of the layout corresponds to 100%, to which the person says the screen should include blocks from X to Y . (and before these blocks, if in screens, 2.)
I'm honestly at a loss, how can I explain to a person that he is wrong and if something already doesn't match, then this is the designer's cant?

In general, the layout should be looked at before work, and if the content area does not meet the standards, it should be discussed before work begins. If the layout is not 1:1, and the customer did not mention this in advance, send with all the claims to horseradish, and demand an additional payment for improvements. For the future, always demand from the customer a detailed TOR according to which the work will be accepted.
