Which router (gateway) to buy?

Hey! There is a company of ~50 people. At the moment, cisco 871 is used as a gateway, VPN server. CO can no longer cope with its task.
Advise an iron gateway with VPN support, with good performance (within a small office, but with a margin)
I look at Mikrotik and pfsense. Cisco is unfortunately expensive. What would you advise from experience that would be reliable and productive?

I use Mikrotik everywhere, and in general the manufacturer is spreading more and more, good indicators of reliability, price and quality.
P.S. 50 people should not put down your piece of iron, what services do they use?

if mikrotik.ru/katalog/katalog/hardware/routers/route is from mikrotik.ru/katalog/katalog/hardware/routers/route...
but that would be enough for everything at all
mikrotik.ru/katalog/katalog/hardware/routers/route...
but it won't work with ciskovskaya vpn
also what vpn is used for? to combine offices or connect employees, you can use L2TP to connect employees, but then the traffic of the connected client will most likely go through Mikrotik if you do not make any additional settings on the client side.

No, it's strong to advise RB1100AHx2 for a company of 50 people. 3011UiAS for the eyes, unless of course there will be a dimensionless amount of VPN. But of course, if the budget allows, you can also use the RB1100AHx2 - there is hardware encryption.

You've just completed a toaster reader poll on "what is your favorite router manufacturer?"
This is very helpful, but it doesn't get you any closer to solving your problem. In order to speak objectively, it is necessary to expand on this phrase in more detail:
How exactly does it not work? Lacking performance? And on what tasks? Or do you need some functionality that isn't there? If yes, which one exactly?

Ubiquity Edge-X Lite. Can ospf / bgp / ipsec, costs about 5 sput, pulls ~ 100mbps without ip-sec, about 80mbps with ipsec
