Where to grow further as a coder?

I'm a coder with 4-5 years of experience, html5 css3 js-basics + jquery , there are parallax sliders from scratch and so on.
It happens that there are no orders, especially since the dollar has grown since the beginning of the year with orders becoming tighter, but right now it’s generally tight.
What to start learning for a few years? I mean the specialty where no problems are foreseen with orders at all, but only freelance work, I won’t go to the office.
Of course, you can immediately say php and so on and go with the song, but php programmers don’t get much more than layout designers. Therefore, it is precisely such site technologies that are less priority, the same story with js programmers, that customers do not really appreciate their work
Thank you!

You asked yourself, you answered yourself)) JS to learn deeply, SVG, Canvas if you want to stay in the frontend, graphic design - there are also not many orders with orders, 3D is generally empty.
Well, take the server side there php, Django, RoR, NodeJS, for which the soul lies more, all this will be in demand.

Learn js and sell your programs in the app store
Or make programs in js and sell them to those who will sell them in the app store Nicoda

If we talk about the frontend / js, then study the js stack deeply, various HTML5 APIs, frameworks. But we must remember that learning frameworks without general programming skills will not lead to anything good.
In freelancing, however, front-end programming has not really taken root, preference for remote work.
In my opinion, people with a rich experience in interfaces, it is promising to go to mobile, and it will be great if you master the native (iOS or Android) option, as well as JS + wrappers in order to have options and experiment, as well as combine "quick" projects with thorough.
